Redundancy

The problem with this page is that it's simply repeating what is already mentioned in Prawn Island Mansions, mainly regarding the Mendez mansion. The Prawn Island Mansions article was originally titled Mendez Mansion, and originally made no mention of the other two mansions that are also under the control of the Streetwannabes in GTA Vice City, until it was extensively expanded and renamed to reflect the article's wider coverage of the area (hence the Mendez Mansion link having been converted into a redirect).

It's just a waste of manpower and time to have to maintain two separate articles (one of which may end up being neglected) as opposed to one integrated page that covers what can be considered one entity in GTA Vice City. As a matter of fact, I have to question the need to create so many articles of individual subject matters that may very well be summarized in single paragraphs. There is no way we can effectively have quality control with so few active users and the thousands of pages in this wiki. - ZS 12:35, 26 September 2011 (BST)

This was discussed here. I think Gboyers supports this as long as there is a list that references these redundant articles.--spaceeinstein 15:56, 26 September 2011 (BST)

I think the article is fine the way it is and is here to stay. The Prawn Island Mansions article on Grand Theft Wiki primarily talks about the two neighbouring mansions to the Mendez Mansion and only gives a small insight into the Mendez Mansion. This article however, talks about the Mendez Mansion in greater detail. Therefore, anybody who wants more information about the Mendez Mansion will pop over here and read the article. Also, it is a major location in both GTA Vice City games so therefore, it deserves an article of its own.--MrLanceVanceDance 02:06, 27 September 2011 (BST)

It's not just about this article. An example like Vice Street Racer have unusually large amount of redundant information that would be easier to manage and easier to look at if kept to one page.--spaceeinstein 22:27, 27 September 2011 (BST)
