The Panopticon
The Panopticon is a logging camp located in north-west Red County, San Andreas. From bloodstains observed in the cabins it can be observed that safety standards at the camp were lax. The area is relatively open, set in a forest on a hill. San Fierro can be seen from parts of the camp. Many cabins and fallen trees line the area.

The mission Wu Zi Mu (a street race) has its endpoint at the Panopticon. The mission Farewell, My Love..., essentially the previous race in reverse, has its start here. Mike Toreno's mission Vertical Bird begins at the base of the hill on which the Panopticon is situated.
Leatherface
Some time after the games release people reported to have seen the legendary 'Leatherface' who is a killer with a chainsaw from the film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The myth has generated large amounts of hype and hunts to find the killer. Given the nature of the camp, mainly because of the old sawmill and bloodstains in its cabins, it has been attributed as one of the locations where Leatherface may appear. Indeed, at night time and in a storm the area can seem rather scary, hence giving rise to rumours as any mysterious place would.
