Tram in San Fierro

The Tram is a non-drivable vehicle in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas that appears on tracks around San Fierro.

The Tram has a terminal in the King's district, meanwhile the place where the tram is usually found is in the Garcia district.

No passengers ride the tram, and the player cannot board or drive it. However, some third-party Modifications for the PC can make the Tram usable by the player. Also, since it cannot be boarded, it has no identifiable name, thus why it is simply known as the Tram by the GTA community. Trams can commonly be seen with their destination displayed on the sides of the cars, toward the top.

The only way to use the tram as a mode of transportation is to hop on top of it.

The tram is completely indestructible, and will continue to move even with any obstruction. Even though it is indestructible, it can be targeted with Heat-Seeking Rocket Launchers, which have no effect on it.

There is an glitch involving the tram. If the player climbs onto the tram and takes a picture, "CJ" will fall into Blue Hell and after a few moments CJ will land on the sidewalk beside the tram.

If you are on top of the tram and the police want you then the tram will stop.

Trivia

  • It is said that the Tram was ridable before the release of GTA San Andreas.
