Victor Vance, having briefly worked with Cassidy, later saves his sister Louise from being pimped by her husband and then saving him from an attacked set up by Martinez. He stopped drinking but started again when Louise was killed by Armando Mendez, resulting in Cassidy and Vance working together to wipe out the Mendez Cartel.
