Uploading images and originals

Hi.

I just like to offer some advice when copying images from Wikia here. Images viewed using lightboxes (when you left click thumbnails, except in the image page) or the image page (articles that begin with "File:") do not show the full sized image, and may be shown in poor quality than it actually is (due to Wikia's terrible thumbnail generating programming). You can find the full sized originals by clicking the image shown at its image page; you will be directed to the full-sized image, which web address can be copied to GTW's upload page to directly copy from the GTA Wikia.

Just to make this clearer, to get the full proper image (ready to copy here), when the image box pops up, you need to click the little magnifying glass in the bottom-right. That takes you to the image's own page (File:ImageName.jpg). On there, click on the big image again and it will open the full-size image, which you can save to your PC then upload here. You'll notice the filename of the full image is "Image.jpg" rather than "800px-Image.jpg" (the resized version). Thanks, and keep up the good work - Gboyers 11:07, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
