The VCPD Cheetah is an undercover police version of the Cheetah used by the Vice City Police Department (VCPD) in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. It is also known as the Vice Cheetah in GTA Vice City based solely on its model name in the game's files.

Overview

The Police Cheetah is driven by two undercover agents equipped with Uzi submachine guns who chase you upon attaining a 3 star wanted level. Like most law enforcement vehicles, entry into the car allows the player to activate the Vigilante side mission.

The Police Cheetah is exactly the same as a regular Cheetah, albeit with the addition of a flashing light and siren. Incidentally, this means the Police Cheetah is one of the few respray-able police vehicles, making it a great choice for the Vigilante side mission, however in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories the VCPD Cheetah acts as a different vehicle compared to the Vice City rendition and cannot be resprayed. Outdriving the Cheetah is nearly impossible, and once you get stopped, undercover police men in polos hop out with sub-machine guns.
