In its first appearance in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, it is a standard lighthouse with an interior. The interior contains a spiral staircase leading from the ground to the roof. During the night, a beam of light rotates around the lighthouse. In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, the lighthouse door is closed, making the interior inaccessible. The Vice City Lighthouse is directly based on the real-life Cape Florida Lighthouse.
