Wade Heston is a character in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Heston is a Liberty City Personal Investigator who is a good friend of Huang Lee. Wade Heston is heavily monitored by the IAD for his actions which include resorting to drugs in order to deal with his marital problems. Though his actions are 'legally sensitive,' he has good intentions and is arguably the most loyal (as they were both sold out by a mystery figure to the FIB) and helpful character towards Huang in finding his father's killer.

Heston often makes up false claims about his life, claiming that they are more interesting than what really happened. He often goes on about how they should make a movie about his life.

Influence

Wade Heston may be a reference to Michael Westen, star of the hit TV show, Burn Notice. Both Heston and Westen have similar traits, being a sort of lovable rebel, and being generally a good guy, despite their quirks. Both Heston and Westen drive the same car, a Black Charger (in Heston's case, it's a black Dukes). In addition to the name similarity, both characters have been "Sold out" to the government, and in Weston's case, falsely.
