Marty Chonks is a character in the 3D Universe who appears as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto III (set in 2001). He is the manager and possible owner of the Bitch'n' Dog Food Factory in Trenton, Portland, Liberty City. He is voiced by Chris Phillips, who also voices El Burro.

Marty Chonks (? - October 2001) is a character and serial killer in Grand Theft Auto III. Marty is married to Mrs. Chonks and runs the Bitch'n' Dog Food Factory in Trenton, Portland Island, Liberty City. He has many grievances with various people, which he takes care of by turning them into dog food.
Character history
Marty Chonks was presumably born in Liberty City and later married. At an unknown point he became the manager or owner of the Bitch'n' Dog Food Factory in Trenton, Portland, Liberty City. Love Media claim on their website that they own the business, although Chonks has monetary problems caused by the factory, suggesting that he is the owner. Chonks continues to suffer from the city wide ban on dogs, which is upheld in October 2001, causing him money problems that are compounded by his wifes expensive lifestyle.

Marty Chonks eventually employs Claude to transport various people to his factory, and then destroy any evidence in the car. Victims include his bank manager, two burglars and his wife, Mrs. Chonks. Marty then sends Claude to get Carl, who had been having an affair with Mrs. Chonks, who Marty believes he can overpower. Carl brings a shotgun and kills Marty, saying that he's there to take over the business. The player has the opportunity to kill Carl after the mission, and see Marty's dead body before it disappears.
In October 2001 he employs Claude and attempts to solve his problems by murdering those causing the problems. He first has Claude drive his bank manager from the bank in Chinatown to the factory, where he is killed and turned into dog food. Two thieves, who had broken into his apartment so he could claim on the insurance, follow after they had threatened to tell the insurance company.

The missions that Marty Chonks provides are spoofs of the 1989 film "The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover". The missions are entitled: "The Crook" (the bank manager), "The Thieves" (two burglars), "The Wife" (Mrs. Chonks) and "Her Lover" (Carl).
He next has Claude bring his wife from Classic Nails, where she is also killed, making Chonks a serial killer. Chonks then asks Claude to pick up Carlos, his wifes boyfriend who he also owes money to. Chonks confronts him inside the factory grounds but is killed by Carlos, tired of waiting for his money, who shoots him with a shotgun and claims to be the new owner of the factory although he can be killed by Claude.

Chris Phillips provides the voice for Marty Chonks.
