Character history
Big Poppa, at an unknown time prior to 1992, became a member of the Los Santos Vagos and later a drug dealer, presumably rising through the ranks to become a leader. In 1992 he takes control of Madd Dogg's Crib after giving him a large supply of drugs, while Madd Dogg was in a state of depression. Carl "CJ" Johnson, who had stopped Madd Dogg from committing suicide and later became his manager, works alongside the San Fierro Triads to invade and take back his mansion from Big Poppa and his Vagos henchmen equipped with high tech guns in a grueling gunfight. Big Poppa, however, leaves the mansion and tries to escape in his car but is chased down and killed by Carl.
