* Start the game as Johnny, looking for work after the Lost is destroyed. The first mission involves training day with a fast food place where Johnny kills the manager in a fit of rage about being forced to conform too much. Skip over to Niko. He is looking for the man who killed Ray Bulgarin so he can thank this man. After tracking down Luis, a fight begins which Luis wins. After this Niko requests a job at Maisonette 9 so he can earn some money. The next mission is through Luis' perspective. You have to introduce Niko to the night life. The next mission involves Johnny crashing his bike near Maisonette 9 after getting drunk from sorrow about what he has become. Niko and Luis take him to the hospital where the recognize him and decide to wait for him. Once Johnny is released from the hospital, the player can choose which character to play as at any time and invite up to two friends with them. Johnny, Niko, and Luis decide to start a crime syndicate after The Commission offers the Russian Mob territory and an alliance to them for getting rid of Pegorino and Dimitri. Niko calls all of his friends (Dwayne [canonic, Roman [canonic], Packie [he was on vacation], Phill [Niko convinces him to help], Brucie [tells him it’s a macho club], Little Jacob [and by extension, Real Badman], and Derrick [canonic].
