Whilst leader, Klebitz has maintained a relative peace between The Lost Brotherhood and the gangs rival, The Angels of Death. Klebitz first meets Niko Bellic through drug dealer Elizabeta Torres, who asks Niko and Playboy X (Trey Stewart) to accompany Klebitz on a heroin deal. The deal, however, was an undercover LCPD sting and, after a gunfight, Klebitz (along with Niko and Playboy X) escape. Shortly after this, Roman Bellic is kidnapped by "a biker" for Dimitri Rascalov, who was later revealed as Klebitz. He kidnapped Roman for Rascalov to pay off Ashley Butler's debt to Rascalov.

The deal, however, was an undercover LCPD sting and, after a gunfight, Klebitz escaped, as have Niko and Playboy.

After a frantic text message from Ashley, she is being held hostage for her debts to Dimitri Rascalov by two of Rascalov's henchmen.  In order to prevent harm to Ashley, the henchmen have Johnny kidnap a man named Roman Bellic for Rascalov.  Johnny enlists the help of Malc to kidnap Bellic, as he can not do this alone, and he can't ask anyone in the Lost, due to them not believing in kidnapping.  They take him from the gambling shack on Dillon Street in Schottler, and have him delivered to a warehouse in Bohan's industrial district.

Ray Boccino, a Capo of the Pegorino Family, has Klebitz accompany Niko to a diamond deal with the Jewish Mob and the gang's leader, Isaac Roth. Klebitz, however, turns on Niko and Ray after Luis Fernando Lopez ambushes the deal, with Klebitz stealing the money.

Ray learns of Klebitz' betrayal, and has Jim Fitzgerald captured.  Jim is tortured by Boccino while he waits for Klebitz to arrive at Drusilla's after Boccino uses Fitzgerald's phone to lure Johnny into a trap.  Boccino holds Johnny at gun-point, continuing the question the two bikers on the location of his money, but Jim breaks free by cutting the rope restraining him with a boxcutter.  Jim kills one of Ray's goons, and the two escape.  Boccino has hitmen sent after Johnny in Alderney, and with Terry and Clay's assistance, he manages to kill them all.  After calling Ashley and meeting her at the clubhouse, Ashley tells him that Boccino had her convince Johnny to work with him in the first place so Ray can use them, while neglecting their pay.  She also reveals that Jim has been killed by one of Boccino's hitmen, who, unknown to Klebitz, was Niko Bellic.
Upon this loss, Thomas Stubbs meets with Johnny at the Lost Clubhouse, and informs him of Billy Grey planning to rat out Johnny and Angus in order to be released from prison.  Johnny gets everyone left in the Lost to attack the prison, and Klebitz personally kills Billy.  After escaping the prison, the Lost clubhouse has been trashed.  Angus reflects on the decision his brothers have made, and regrets the fact that his brothers had to become maniacs.  Klebitz orders the clubhouse burned down, and the surviving members of the Lost watch the clubhouse burn.
Johnny Klebitz is voiced by Scott Hill.

He, unlike Billy Grey, cares about the future of the Lost and its members, but is quick to shut down anyone who is wrong or disobeys him.  He starts to care more about his friends then The Lost, after Jim Fitzgerald is murdered.  Johnny also has a bit more common sense than the other bikers. For example: When Ray Boccino was having Jim Fitzgerald tortured, Johnny wanted to kill Ray.  After Jim's death, he was willing to risk everything to kill Boccino, but was convinced otherwise by Thomas Stubbs, who told Klebitz that Boccino would either be in jail or dead in a month.

Klebitz was also merciful, as shown when he constantly warns Brian to leave town, so Brian won't be killed
Klebitz was also merciful, as shown when he constantly warns Brian to leave town, giving him one last chance, but if found on the streets of Alderney, Brian tries once again to have Klebitz killed, this time, he doesn't get a second chance.

Johnny has women troubles, as shown with Ashley Butler.  He used to love her, but no longer does, and it takes him much time to finally get her out of his head.

He also seems to believes in mercy kills, as he ordered the Lost to be disbanded and the clubhouse burned down.
Johnny has women troubles, as shown with Ashley Butler.  The two used to date, but Klebitz ended the relationship with her due to her drug addictions.  He still cares for her, but believes the drugs have her.  He will still do anything to protect her, as shown when he kills her fellow drug addicts, and kidnaps Roman Bellic.
