Merit
The Merit is one of the few luxury sedans on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It is a good choice car because it is four door, has balanced out handling, acceleration, and speed. It can be upgraded at a car shop, in many aspects including Nitro. It's first appearance is on Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and is based on the Mazda 929.
In it's latest appearance in Grand Theft Auto IV, the Merit is redesigned with a similar look to the 2000-2005 Chevrolet Impala with rear detailing seemingly inspired by a mid-90s Honda Accord and BMW 3 series. This car is also the standard base for some police and taxi cars, with the other older cars in the game using a look similar to the standard Ford Crown Victoria.
