 A pre-release screenshot for GTA V shows a scuba diver swimming in the ocean with a shark that appears to be a composite of several real-life shark species, namely the Grey Nurse Shark (the pectoral and pelvic fins), Tiger Shark (nose shape and eyes), and the Great White Shark (plump body). It is currently unknown if there will be more than one species in the game, if they are capable of attacking the player, or if they can be killed.
