"With all of the street and gang violence, working girls, corrupt cops, and strip clubs/pornography, the name of the city is considered a joke in the game." What Is That Supposed to Mean???-Mcanmoocanu 23:11, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

"Los Santos" is Spanish for "The Saints", so it could be a joke, as most people in the city are hardly "saints" (good people) at all. Sgt. S.S. 10:55, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

I see where you're coming from, but I think the city was named Los Santos as a reference to the city it's based on, Los Angeles, which means 'the angels'. MAINEiac4434 16:59, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Well, isn't there a chance it could be both? Sgt. S.S. 20:04, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Of course. MAINEiac4434 20:22, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

"It's possible that in the GTA IV era, Ganton, Idlewood, East Los Santos, East Beach and Santa Maria (which are based off Compton, Inglewood, East Los Angeles, Long Beach and Santa Monica, which are separate from Los Angeles but are part of it's metro area.) are separate cities from Los Santos, but are part of it's metropolitan area, to coincide with the real-life Los Angeles Metro Area."

What ??? It's absolutly not comfirmed !!! --GTAJJJ 18:40, 24 April 2011 (BST)
