I'm assuming that by copying the same game, you meant save game. I don't really know because I've never used a different disk with the same save game. But I can't think of any reason why the console would recognise it as a different disk, the only possible problem being the GTA IV update patch that was released ages ago (that would now be just a part of the disk for new disks, making the patch that's already on your console irrelevant (if you ever downloaded it, which you would have had to if you played online?)).  But the game would probably just ignore that (or better yet, you could delete it), and even with that, it would only affect the game, not the save game, so there is no reason that the game shouldn't recognise a save game. The save game knows if it's on the console it started on (at least on PS3), but I don't know about the disk. Just turn it on, and if it does start a new game for some reason, try and load. tell me how it goes! It turns out copying isn't needed on a Xbox 360! I just put in the disk, and my previous game started up again! I just have something in my head I need to ask to you, it's about Stevie's Car Thefts. Do you need to complete "Babysitting" along with all of Ray Boccino's missions to unlock them?Fast Lane 07:30, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

::Huh, I never said that you needed to copy it for it to work with a new disk. The reason I copy my save games is in case something happens to my console (like when it got stolen, I didn't have to start again, I just had to go back a few missions to the last time I copied my save game). As for Stevie, I don't know. Why would you have to complete Ray Boccino's missions? He has no connection to Stevie. And according to the Stevie's Car Thefts page, they are unlocked after Smackdown for Derrick McReary (but depending on how quick you start the next mission, you might not get the phone call after straight after Smackdown, and Babysitting is the next mission for Derrick, which explains why you got it after that mission).
