Civilization Committee: Difference between revisions

Described as a "largely ineffective organization where representatives from nations around the world are supposed to decide on the best course of action in the event of an international conflict",<ref name="peepthatshit">www.peepthatshit.com/sightscc (In game website.)</ref> the CC's presence in the game is intended to parody the various shortcomings of the United Nations in real life. The CC is ridiculed for doing little in international affairs, organizing lavish meals (while parts of the world suffer from starvation) and failing to pay parking tickets.<ref name="peepthatshit"/> For these reasons, the US Administration "wisely" ignores the CC, and the view of their building from the [[Humboldt River]] is claimed to be more significant than the organization based in it.<ref name="peepthatshit"/>
