 Upon release from hospital, she was once again encountered at [[Pier 45]], holding onto a handrail and ready to jump from quite a height. Luis attempted to stop her, but she jumped to her death. A crowd of civilians believed that Luis pushed her, forcing him to outrun an angry mob and the police.
