Tables are really great, I'm a big fan, but my concern is that this list would get too big to manage. When we have 1000 businesses here, the page will be hard to edit (especially for newer users) compared to the current format. We may end up with duplications (because the page code isn't sorted, just the output). Also, even if you can sort it by type of business, it will still mean a LOT of scrolling to find (say) Restaurants. | |||
I think a better idea would be to have several tables - on different pages. So a list of restaurants, a list of shops etc. This page would link to all those sub-pages. We could even have an 'All Businesses' list that imports the others automatically into a massive sortable table, if that would be useful. What do you think?
