Rockstar Japan is a development studio owned by Rockstar Games headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 2005 and works in conjunction with developer Capcom in providing Japanese localisations of various games by Rockstar.
Rockstar Japan has so far helped to bring the following GTA games to Japan:
- Grand Theft Auto 3 (2003)
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2003)
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2007)
According to a recent article in hugely popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, a Japanese localisation of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is currently in development.
