Cops 'n' Crooks

Cops 'n' Crooks is a multiplayer game in Grand Theft Auto IV. Cops 'n' Crooks involves players being split into 2 groups: The Crooks, or the criminals and the Cops, or the police. The crook players are attempting to escort their boss (or themselves) to safety whilst evading the cop players. There are two modes: One for All and All for One.

All of One

The All for One version has the crooks attempting to get their boss to an escape vehicle, either a boat or a helicopter, or kill all the LCPD police officers. The police attempt to kill all the crooks or destroy the crooks' escape vehicle. If the police manage to destroy the escape vehicle, the crooks will lose even if they kill all the police men. The point of this mode is to simply safely get the boss to the escape vechile; their actual suvival does not matter.

One of All

The One for All version has no boss to escort, simply the crooks keeping themselves alive and attempting to fill an escape vehicle to win, either a boat or a helicopter. The police, meanwhile, attempt to kill all of the crooks before they can escape. Players can't respawn in this mode.

Once the player dies, they have to wait for the round to end. Killing someone, in either version, gives the player $100. In the all for one version, the police make $1,000 for killing the boss, whilst the crooks make $1,000 for helping their boss escape. Players can also make $250 for getting into/on to the escape vehicle.
