Be a Policeman
I just came up with this idea as I was driving around Los Santos. Wouldn't it be cool if you can work as a policeman? I am not talking about vigilante, but more like people who drives around the cities and be a normal policeman. And you are able to call for backup, and you never gets wanted star for shooting people.
Does anyone know if that is possible??
I think that would be a good idea (maybe a future GTA game will feature a re-worked version of the Viglante missions and make them more 'realistic' so to speak). Although, assuming you haven't played it, I would recommend that you try playing True Crime: New York City, it is pretty much a GTA game but you are a police officer. The game does suffer with it's controls and some (minor) glitches, but it had alot of ambition for it's time (2005), not to mention the accurately re-created Manhattan and the fact that most commercial buildings are enterable - they tend to have a generic interior depending on the type of building, but it's a start. Most stores also allow you to buy things like food (for health), medikits, clothes, music, cars and hairstyles. It may not be a true contender for GTA games but, in my opinion, it's alot of fun once you get used to the controls - and it's leaps and bounds ahead of True Crime: Streets of L.A..
