4x4
The 4x4, spelt 4 x 4 in-game, is a vehicle in Grand Theft Auto 1 that appears in Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas. It resembles the Jeep Wrangler style SUV. It has no roof, and the drivers tend to play loud music when it drives past. It is most likely the predecessor of the Mesa Grande in GTA: Vice City, and the Mesa in GTA: San Andreas respectively. It has ok durability, but it is most likely best suited to off roading. However, it is only designed to launch off small jumps. Any hard landing it receives, will explode in two landings, killing the player. it is also not meean't to flee from cops, even if it withstands pistol shots, heavy gunfire can literally destroy the car instantly.
