Acter is mainly a residential neighborhood, comprised of small town houses and tenaments. There are homes in Acter that are classy looking, while some are run down with broken windows and plywood over the entrances. Acter is also a heavily gang influenced neighborhood, being the territory to Alderney chapters of [[The Lost]] and [[M.O.B.]]

Acter is meant to represent the residential areas of [[wp:Kearny, NJ|North Kearny]], [[wp:New_Jersey|New Jersey]], while it's continuation of Acter Industrial Park in the south is meant to represent the Industrial district in [[wp:Kearny, NJ|South Kearny]], [[wp:New_Jersey|New Jersey]].
