Drugs (business)

Drugs is a business in the Empire Building feature of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.

Development

This business makes more than the previous three, (Protection Racket, Loan Shark, and Prostitution). If the player wishes to own a Drug Running business then they must pay $4500 for a Small-Time, $8900 for a Medium Venture, and $13300 for a High-Roller. When the High-Roller size is purchased the player will receive the Tracksuit outfit which will be available at every safehouse. Note: In order to own this type of business,an enemy drugs business must be successfully attacked and damaged by the player.

Empire Mission

To start the mission enter the premises, approach a gang member and press the R3 button (PS2) or the Up button (PSP). The point of this mission is to arrange drug deals with other people (usually Pedestrians). A lot of different outcomes in the deal can occur. The people you're meeting with could attack you and try to take both the drugs and the money. Or the people could try to hand over fake drugs. And the deal could go good without legal attention or it could go good but with the Drug Enforcement Agency (D.E.A.) monitoring the handover. Also the deal could be interrupted by an enemy gang. Once you complete six levels you will receive increased profit for all of your drug sites, and your reputation will be maxed out, plus your nickname for the drug business is Smack Daddy.
