Flashback FM is an Oldies Pop station in Liberty City. In the video game Grand Theft Auto III, the DJ is Toni who also appeared as a DJ in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. However, in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, it is DJ'ed by Reni Wassulmaier, a character who also appeared in Vice City Stories. His transsexual status is portrayed in Vice City Stories where he had his operation to escape the Mendez Brothers.

The music is synthesized 1970s music with some lyrics playing. This kind of music is more appropriate for chase scenes or for running over passengers while doing a rampage mission at night. The DJ is Reni Wassulmaier
