The Hunter is the standard offensive/defensive helicopter in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City San Andreas and Liberty City Stories. It is based upon the U.S. AH-64 attack helicopter.
The Hunter is a very deadly aircraft, having a .50 caliber self-targeting machine gun, and can shoot two unguided rockets at once. Like its cousin the Rhino it has infinite ammunition. The helicopter features the ability to be used as a vigilante vehicle, with its own set of missions known as "Brown Thunder". In terms of damage to the helicopter, it is not BP/FP/EP like the Rhino, but can survive long while being shot at.
It can be obtained in Vice City by either collecting 100 packages (the early method) or completing the mission "Keep your friends close". After doing one of these the helicopter will spawn at Fort Baxter air base.
