The Ingot also slightly resembles a first generation Subaru Forester, however the Ingot is much lower to the ground and not 4WD. It has a high-pitched engine noise and low reliability, suggesting a V-5 engine or V-6 (Volkswagen is known for introducing the V-5 engine and a version of the V-6, the VR-6; the fourth gen VW Jetta has a 2.3l V-5 engine and 2.8l VR-6 as one of its options, which both have less than 200hp).  The engine in-game may stop working after a few major crashes.  The Ingot isn't very fast, making it a poor choice for car chases.

The Ingot is a car available only in Grand Theft Auto IV. It is a compact station wagon looking much like a fourth generation Volkswagen Jetta, or its boxy European counterpart, the Volkswagen Bora station wagon. After collecting all thirty cars for Stevie he agrees to purchase cars from Niko Bellic, with the Ingot fetching $1,000.

Design

The Ingot has a high-pitched engine noise and low reliability, suggesting a V-5 engine or V-6 (Volkswagen is known for introducing the V-5 engine and a version of the V-6, the VR-6; the fourth gen VW Jetta station wagon has a 2.3l V-5 engine and 2.8l VR-6 as one of its options, which both have less than 200hp). The engine in-game may stop working after a few major crashes. The Ingot isn't very fast, making it a poor choice for car chases.

A special R type version can occasionally be found. It's an Ingot with removed badging and new grill, a small spoiler with a small body kit, and candy red paint. It mostly can be found in the Hove Beach area, as it's driven by Russian Mafia members.

Locations

The Ingot can frequently be found near Roman's taxi firm in Broker.
