Upon starting a new game the player is able to where the Liberty State Penitentiary clothes outside of the Introduction. To do this have a saved game. Load it then start a new game. Once the cutscenes have played load your saved game. Doing this will render you unable to use the alternative costume [[Cheats in GTA III|cheat]] as long as you don't save.
