Ivan the Not So Terrible

Ivan the Not So Terrible is the fourth and final mission for Vlad in GTA IV. This is the first mission in the game to offer a choice of killing or sparing a person, and is the first to use ladders and jumping.

The mission starts with Vlad telling Niko that Ivan has upset Mikhail Faustin and wants you to kill him. He's making Ivan rob Roman's Cab Depot and wants you to kill him, so it seems like it's in defense. When you drive there Ivan is already leaving and speeding away so you have to chase him. Some time later he gets out of his car and tries to run away up a construcion site. When he gets on top he jumps from building to building and when reaches his final one he falls and is hanging onto the catwalk.

This gives the player the choice of either killing Ivan or letting him live. If you let him live then he'll come back as a random character.
