The London Cab serves as the replacement to the conventional yellow [[Taxi]]s featured in [[Grand Theft Auto 1]]'s American cities. The taxis, which are evidently based on the [[wp:Austin FX4|Austin FX4]] "[[wp:Hackney carriage|Hackney carriage]]" common during the 1960s, are black and boxy in design. If the player manages to respray a London Cab, the roof-mounted taxi sign may appear in blue or magenta, as opposed to the usual orange. | |||
