Motorbikes have been in Grand Theft Auto games since GTA1.

GTA1 had a Bike and a Superbike: the Superbike went much faster than the Bike.

Starting with GTA:III you could lean forward on a motorbike to increase speed, required to complete some unique jumps.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City had some motorbikes, including the Freeway, Angel, PCJ-600 and Pizzaboy.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas introduced the HPV-1000 and BF-400. Since GTA:III the fastest motorcycle had been the PCJ-600, but GTA:SA introduced the even faster NRG-500. It also introduced pedal bicycles.
