A Personal Computer can refer to a desktop or laptop PC.

Video games are released for one or more platforms. The PC is one platform, alongside the PlayStation 2, Xbox and many more.

The PC platform is the most versatile, with the user easily able to download and install modifications (mods). Most Grand Theft Auto mods are for the PC version, and although some exist for the console versions, they are significantly harder to apply.

However, this will most likely follow the trend. We will expect a PC version of GTAIV in summer [[2008]].
