Princess Robot Bubblegum (プリンセス ロボット バブルガム) is an anime series featured in Grand Theft Auto IV and in The Ballad of Gay Tony as a proper animated program on the television.

Futuristic Tokyo, the setting of PRB

Description

As a modern anime show, Princess Robot Bubblegum contains several anime stereotypes, such as a futuristic setting in Japan (specifically, Tokyo), a scantily clad, possibly ditzy, leading female with big breasts, big eyes, and pink hair, a perverted old wiseman, a cute monster sidekick, mecha robots, tentacle erotica, bad translations and dubbing, and a convoluted narrative.

The show has been advertised on the radio in GTA IV, where some of its aforementioned traits have been promoted, and has even courted controversy in-game when one Weazel News report in GTA IV highlights a protest by Asians against the airing of the anime. The series is due to appear in The Ballad of Gay Tony as an actual television program in CNT, one of several additional contents added for the television feature.

Trivia

  • Lowly Master's staff/cane tip is jokingly in the shape of a penis tip.
