A Regina in GTA Vice City.

The Regina is a station wagon appearing in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories with no apparent differences evident in this model between the three games. The Regina also appears in the Grand Theft Auto IV episodic content The Lost and Damned under the brand name Dundreary. It is capable of carrying 3 passengers, and can be found in most areas of the map in all three games.

Design

The Regina in the GTA III Era resembles a 1984-1988 Chevrolet Caprice Estate Wagon (the placement of the wood panels and the chrome on the bottom of the sides) with a mid-80's Pontiac Parisienne-like grille and the the shape of the hood and how the front is pointed looks similar to many 70's Cadillacs. Unlike all those cars, the Regina is front wheel drive.

In The Lost and Damned, it appears as a 60's GM B platform station wagon from the sides - like a 1966-1970 Chevrolet Impala or 1966-1969 Pontiac Bonneville station wagon, etc. but the taillight design doesn't seem to match any. The front looks very loosely based on a 1969/'68 Pontiac Bonneville.

Performance

Acceleration is modest, and speed is highly lacking with the Regina's front-wheel drive powertrain, the underpowered V8 struggles to move this behemoth. Handling is sluggish, the car suffers from obvious understeer, and the brakes do a barely acceptable job of slowing the enormous chassis. Also, not being especially sturdy or capable of withstanding very heavy damage, the Regina is a generally undesirable vehicle.
