Roman's Kidnapper

Roman's Kidnapper, henceforth known as The Kidnapper, is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto IV and appeared in the missions Hostile Negotiation and Roman's Holiday. His name is unknown. His first appearance is in the house of Ashley Butler, when he asks Johnny Klebitz to kidnap Roman Bellic for her debts. Johnny asked him about his name, but kidnapper said, that it's 'not important'. Despite his presumed Russian or other Eastern European nationality, he speaks English very well. He works for Dimitri Rascalov and, judging by his clever and fearless style of communication with Johnny, he is high ranking member of Rascalov's gang. When Johnny brings Roman to a warehouse in Bohan, The Kidnapper begins abusing Roman, as Johnny asks Kidnapper go easier on Roman. The Kidnapper ignores Klebitz and starts to torture Roman, asking him about the location of his cousin, Niko Bellic. He also takes a photo of Roman and sends it to Dimitri to let him know that the 'work' is done. In the mission Hostile Negotiation his appearance and voice changes. The Kidnapper is depicted as a normal model of a Russian gangster with a beard and in a suit. His appearance also could be changed during the mission, between the start and the final battle. Niko begins an assault on the warehouse, and enters a room, where The Kidnapper had taken Roman. The Kidnapper takes Roman hostage, while Niko shoots The Kidnapper straight in his head and frees Roman.
