Schafter
The Benefactor Schafter V-12 is a luxury 4-door sedan and is available only in Grand Theft Auto IV. It is based on the Mercedes C-Class or the Mercedes S600.
The Schafter could be considered one of the most luxurious cars in the game, along with the Cognoscenti and Oracle XS. The Schafter is probably the third most luxurious car in the game, with the Cognoscenti being first and Oracle XS being second. In terms of speed, the Schafter is much faster than the Cognoscenti, although the Oracle XS is close to it in speed.
Being heavy, its acceleration is not spectacular, however the powerful V12 can propel the car to a high top speed, and its rear-drive layout makes it good in low speed corners.
One special version of this car is black and has black rims, also based on the Mercedes Benz W220 or 1999-2006 S65, one of the two AMG models for the S-Class. Both of these are 6.0L V12s, and the Schafters have a V12 SuperCharged insignia on the side, though the Schafter has a 6.5L SC engine. This was driven by the Petrovic Family.
