Squid is a communications company that appeared in Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
Description
Two versions of Squid advertisements for the company can be seen on billboards in Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale in GTA III; one is a regular version with only the logo in view, and another is accompanied by an image of a Sumo mobile phone. The logo can also be seen on the sign for the AMCo. Petroleum Company gas station in Portland in both GTA III and GTA Liberty City Stories.
The logo is apparently based on France Télécom's Orange mobile phone network.
