Steve Scott from Vice City

Steve Scott is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appeared as a major character in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Steve Scott was voiced by Dennis Hopper. Scott is based of Steven Spielberg.

Steve Scott is a porn movie director who, in 1986, worked at the InterGlobal Films Studio on Prawn Island, Vice City. Scott is first introduced when Tommy Vercetti buys the Interglobal film studio and begins to bring Steve models for his films. Steve often displays a craving to include a giant shark in one of his films, much to the annoyance and confusion of Tommy. A poster for Candy Suxxx's film "Bite" can be seen later in the game, and is an homage to the Steven Spielberg film Jaws. Another poster depicts another Steve Scott film starring Candy Suxxx called Closer Encounters, an obvious reference to the Steven Spielberg film Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
