The stubby shotgun is a weapon available in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and Grand Theft Auto IV. It is a powerful weapon, but it has a very short range. At close range it can blow up a vehicle with 2 rounds; however, you will likely take a lot of damage. At close range, it will take out an armored opponent, such as a SWAT member or an FBI agent. Due to its short length, it has an extremely low range, and it will probably not hit someone across the street. The unspecified shotgun in Grand Theft Auto III is most likely a stubby shotgun due to the similar short range and sound.
