I think that the NOOSE Tactical Response Unit (I'd like to refer to it as TRU in the post) may not be based off of the NYPD ESU (as stated in the article), but instead the [http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/border_security/border_patrol/special_oper/srt/national_srt.xml US Customs and Border Protection Special Response Team]. First off, since NOOSE is a federal agency, why would the TRU be based off of a local agency? Also, about NOOSE (specifically the LC Patriotism and Immigration Authority) being part of the LCPD, my hypothesis is that Rockstar either did not have enough disk space, or were just too lazy, to make another model for the Patriotism and Immigration Authority, so they just used the LCPD model instead. Same goes for the their vehicles computers, they just used the LCPD computers. Also, the LCPD page says that the department is underfunded, and that their tactical response comes from NOOSE TRU. But my point is, since NOOSE is based off of DHS, wouldn't the Tactical Response Unit be based off of an agency (or a division in an agency) in DHS? Revision as of 15:52, 1 September 2010

Please don't type dots between the letters in the word "NOOSE" The game itself refers to it without the dots, and the vehicle pages are without the dots too. cgs93 02:29, 11 June 2008 (UTC)Cgs93

NOOSE uses heat-seeking missles?

I wonder who put that there, LOL. But seriously, the TBOGT mission Corner Kids, it is revealed that at least one NOOSE team keeps an RPG in their truck, but it's not a heat seeking bazooka. It is the RPG-7 in GTA IV and EFLC, and they do not use it. 88FanNASCAR 20 July 2010, 20:44 (UTC)

Not So Fast, play that again. The NOOSE mention heat seekers if you wait long enough and their missiles home in on you. That Sir is why I made that edit.--Trainalf 01:29, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

NOOSE Tactical Response Unit

I think that the NOOSE Tactical Response Unit (I'd like to refer to it as TRU in the post) may not be based off of the NYPD ESU (as stated in the article), but instead the US Customs and Border Protection Special Response Team. Also, the LCPD page says that the department is underfunded, and that their tactical response comes from NOOSE TRU, and not a division in the LCPD. But my point is, since NOOSE is based off of DHS, wouldn't the Tactical Response Unit be based off of an agency (or a division in an agency) in DHS? 88FanNASCAR September 1, 2010, 11:50 (UTC)
