The Tow Truck is a new addition to the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and in the downloadable episodic pack The Lost and Damned for Grand Theft Auto IV. It is a unique vehicle, because it has the capability to tow a car, from one point to another, this is very useful when transporting locked cars, or special vehicles on the game. It can also tow anything else like helicopters and airplanes. This vehicle somewhat resembles seventh generation F-Series Ford Wrecker. You could also use the tractor to do the same thing and you can use the baggage car to hook up other baggage carts.

The Lost and Damned Rendition

the Towtruck in the Lost and Damned has a look similar to the Slamvan as a second generation Ford F-Series tow truck however the headlights and grille look like they are from 1975-'79 Ford Econoline vans. Unfortunately its tow truck functionality has no practical use outside the mission as it cannot tow anything.
