This article is about the car. For the manufacturer of the same name, see Willard (manufacturer).

The Willard as depicted in GTA: San Andreas.

The Willard is a four-door car that is available in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, as well as in Grand Theft Auto IV. The car was featured in the third trailer for GTA IV, "Move Up, Ladies", as a chase car driven by Albanian loan skarks. It is also seen in both missions, "It's Your Call" (driven by two Albanian loan skarks) and "Bleed Out" (driven by Dardan Petrela).

Design and performance

It resembles a 1988–1993 Dodge Dynasty in GTA San Andreas, and in GTA IV it strongly resembles a 1986 Buick LeSabre with nothing appearing altered except the the taillights (which might be influenced by the Buick Skylark)

The GTA IV rendition of the Willard is powered by what feels like a high-output 4 or 6 cylinder engine, paired to a 4 speed gearbox in FWD configuration. Calling the Willard slow would be an understatement, as it is monumentally sluggish. Off the line, the Willard is the slowest in-game. Despite it's speed disadvantage, the Willard's suspension is set up for quick turns, rather than high-speed "highway" cornering. The Willard will get you out of a sticky situation in a pinch, however it requires finesse and careful, methodical planning. Braking is acceptable, and ABS appears to be standard across the line. Crash deformation is also acceptable, while build quality seems to be above average, leading the Willard to be best suited for situations where quick, random turns are a necessity, and high speed driving is not an option.
