This is the official policy page of Technical Wiki. This includes instructions on how to behave, what is or is not appropriate, and how decisions are made.

Basic Policy

Any registered member of Grand Theft Wiki may edit any page, except those that are marked. There are reasonable exceptions to what you can write or post on the site, and are listed below

Prohibited Acts

• Vandalizing
  • Removal of Text
  • Intentionally giving misleading information
  • Hacking
  • Anything done intentionally with the intent to damage the site
• Pornography
• Discrimination
  • Race
  • Ethnic Origin
  • Gender
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Color
• Abuse
• Knowingly submitting copyrighted work
• A picture, or any other form of media that conveys any of the above
• Impersonating an administrator, or another member
• Anything deemed otherwise harmful, damaging, or misleading

Restricted Acts

• Swearing
  • Allowed on personal pages, as long as it is reasonable and not excessive
  • To be avoided on a user's discussion page
  • When on an official page it must be a quote from the game, and cannot be used casually
  • No swearing on the main page, news section, community portal, or current events
• Sock Puppeting
  • Does not apply to a computer that is shared by several people with different accounts
  • Use of such an account to create the illusion of greater support for an issue, to mislead others, or to circumvent a block is strictly prohibited
  • Admins reserve the right to block any account that is involved in sock puppeting, and demonstrates suspicious activity
• Use of a picture, or any other form of media to convey the above

Other
Anything not stated in the lists may be amended at any time, and any act may be deemed prohibited or restricted by an Administrator even if not listed above.

Failure to comply with these basic rules may result in a warning, temporary block, or a permanent block of IP and Account from Grand Theft Wiki
