The '''Armadillo''' is a helicopter used by [[Vice City|Vice City's]] Fire Department to put out fires in 1984 (setting of ''[[GTA Vice City Stories]]'', although by 1986, in ''[[GTA Vice City]]'', the vehicle is not being used). The vehicle has a bucket attached by a rope, which is used to carry water from the sea to the fires. Pressing the R3 Button starts a [[Firefighter]] side mission, where the player has to get sea water and use it to take out fires on rooftops. It is based on a Bell B212 helicopter, which is the civilian designation of the twin engined UH-1N Huey, as earlier single engined Hueys were designated Bell 204. The Armadillo has a four bladed main rotor. This is a development mistake, as the first four-bladed Hueys did not fly until the turn of the century.
