Most Wanted: Difference between revisions

The '''Most Wanted''' Missions are [[Missions in GTA IV#Side Missions|side missions]] in [[Grand Theft Auto IV]] that require the player to obtain a [[Police Car|cop car]], either a [[Police Patrol]] or [[Police Cruiser]], or any of the law enforcement vehicles that gives it's occupants access to a police computer. The player must access the Police computer and select the "View Most Wanted" option to see the top ten criminals wanted by the [[Liberty City Police Department]] on the ''current'' borough. To view the top ten of a particular borough, the player must be located there. The player is able to select any of the ten listed criminals to pursue and much like the [[Vigilante]] missions, the target will show up on the [[HUD|map]] (but without a time limit to get there) and the player have to go and eliminate the target(s). There are ten criminals spread across  [[Broker]], [[Dukes]] and [[Bohan]] (which are counted as one borough by the police computer), ten in [[Algonquin]] and ten in [[Alderney]], equaling 30 in total. If the player chooses a target that is too close to their current position, the mission won't start, the police computer will say "The profile is being updated". Once a mission is completed, the name appears red in the most wanted list, if the player tries to undertake the mission again, the police computer reports that the target is deceased, and the mission cannot be started. Many of the targets have friends which also need to be eliminated to successfully complete the mission. Like many other [[Missions in GTA IV|missions]] in the game, many of the targets stay in a static location and fight [[Niko]], but in several cases, they try to escape (depending on which mission is being played). Completing all of the most wanted missions is required for [[100% Completion in GTA IV|100% completion of the game]].
