You can also see a big difference between them, as the AE86's wheel is on the right as it is for every other car in Japan while the AE88's wheel is on the left. The models also have a big difference. The back of the car exposes the reason why it is different, as the AE88's back is more out than the AE86's (The AE86's back is barely out at all). I don't plan on changing it myself as I don't think many will agree with me.
