GSF in V

Where in GTA V or official sources are the GSF stated to have existed in the HD Universe? The CGF are mentioned numerous times by a number of characters in the game while Steve Haines mentions the CAF on his show, but I haven't heard nor seen any reference to the GSF being carried over even in a defunct state. Hey there Ghost Leader. To answer your question you can find official proof of Grove Street Families' existence in the HD Universe in Grand Theft Auto V by playing as Franklin Clinton in the last half of the mission Hood Safari. In this mission when Franklin, Lamar Davis, and Trevor Philips decide to separate while being chased by police, you can choose to flee by yourself, with Lamar or with Trevor. If you decide to flee with Lamar as Franklin, you will hear the following conversation:

Lamar: Eh, you know Grove Street used to be Families hood.
Franklin: Grove Street Families. Man, long time ago.
Lamar: What happened to them dudes?
Franklin: Shit, I don't know. Could be dead. Shit, or could be CEOs by now.
Lamar: Probably living in some suburb somewhere, driving SUVs and shit, you know, soccer moms and shit, coaching little league football teams.
Franklin: Yeah, the suburban flight, huh? Probably so.
Lamar: That's gonna be me and you one day dog.
Franklin: If we lucky, man. Shit, at the moment, it looks like we're gonna end up the other direction.
