Re: Sunqueen

You were right - Sunqueen is the correct spelling. I've added a screenshot and redirected the incorrect article to the correct one. Thanks - gboyers talk 18:03, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

Universes

I have started a discussion at Community:Discussions/Eras and Universes. I do not believe that we should get rid of Eras and group everything as Universes instead. This is because Universes are very large, broad groups, and whilst some things will overlap, most things will not. Eras are much more accurate, and games within an Era have much more in common.

For example, Wanted Level in GTA IV Era. That explains how it all works in the GTA IV, TLAD, TBOGT and CW. Those four games share pretty much the same system. Now, GTA V is likely to have a different system altogether. If we had a "Wanted Level in HD Universe" page instead, that would have to be split to explain the two different systems. We'd end up with a mess where we have page titles like "Wanted Level in the HD universe except GTA V" or "Wanted Level in GTA IV, The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony and GTA Chinatown Wars".

Universes may be the official internal grouping for storylines and characters, but they are not the best way to list games or group things within them. I believe Eras are a much simpler, easier and more logical way to group everything. gboyers talk 16:22, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

GTA Advance

Well according to the pages Grand Theft Auto Advance and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, both were released on 26 October 2004. However, every other site on the web says 25 October for Advance.

Either way, I'm not worried about 1 day either side when we're talking about general templates like that. It makes sense to group the console games before the portable games, and it makes sense for III/VC/SA to be adjacent. Just like having TLAD+BOGT next to each other, even if CW technically came in between. GTA Advance is almost not part of the series at all (it's not listed on Rockstar's site) so I'm sure it won't mind being bumped down a row!

There are people who disagree and say to-the-second accuracy is more important than having a usable site that's easy/intuitive to navigate, and I do understand that point of view. I'm sure one of those will contest or revert it, and I'm sure their argument for accuracy would probably win! But in the meantime, it makes sense to me to group them how I've put it. gboyers talk 18:03, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

Yes - feel free to add them! gboyers talk 18:15, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

In reply to Detected as spam?

Hello! Yes, I can see the notations in the log about it. Did the page say anything else to you when it warned you about the detection? I have no idea what made it happen as I can't see the details of those filters, only gboyers can. Therefore, I think you will be better off waiting for him to reply to you. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Andreaz1 (talk|edits) 17:32, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
