Acceleration is mediocre, as are handling and braking. Despite it's unsporty appearance, it actually goes faster than the Stratum. Despite being rear-wheel drive, the vehicle is underpowered by the weak V6, which unlike the Stratum's engine, is moving a much heavier chassis.  The Solair's bulk, however, does endow it with the capability to withstand more damage than the Stratum.

Overview

The Solair is a station wagon available in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and is similar to the Stratum, but much less appealing, due to a more "family" oriented design and inferior performance.

Design

The Solair resembles a 1991 Ford Taurus station wagon.

Performance

Acceleration is mediocre, as are handling and braking. Despite it's unsporty appearance, it actually goes faster than the Stratum, but takes longer to reach maximum speed. Despite being rear-wheel drive, the vehicle is underpowered by the weak V6, which unlike the Stratum's engine, is moving a much heavier chassis. The Solair's bulk, however, does endow it with the capability to withstand more damage than the Stratum.
